Grapefruit: Study of Color and Form

The grapefruit is a fascinating fruit due to its unique combination of flavors, vibrant colors, and health benefits. This color study of the fruit explored its real life attributes as a whole and a slice, visualizing blends of complementary colors that bring out its vivid exterior and interior. The drawings are primarily use of color pencil, incorporating different blending and shading techniques to portray the still life and additional drawings. AutoCAD and Illustrator were used to create the mosaic design, where I experimented with adding monochrome to the color scheme.
