Sustainable Neighborhood

My idea with this piece was to create a sustainable, car free neighborhood model with a simplistic and sleek design. I used cardboard, paint and plant-resembling craft material to complete the project. The area is entirely car free, with only bikes and pedestrians allowed. The buildings are surrounded by maintained forestry and public gardens to sustain the food supply and create a surplus. The structures themselves run on solar panels and are supported by the massive central beams that run through the center of their wing-shaped bodies. The only building with a more conventional rectangular shape is the recreational center for residents.
