Seattle Folly
My objective with this piece was to create a model of a folly that would be suitable as a structure or attraction in a public park. I used Rhino and Illustrator to complete the project. In this particular case, I decided to make an interactive structure that can be sat on both the roof and back side of the building. The idea is to create shade and a resting stop with an eye-catching view of the city skyline in a public park I really liked when I visited Seattle (seen in Site Incorporation) which incorporates design elements I observed on site in multiple modern park installations along with a hint of gothic in the arches, as that architectural style always fascinated me.
