Residential Dwelling Design

Row House Development

As part of a conceptual Master Plan for a theoretical extension of St. Augustine, St. Johns County, Florida, this project involved designing a row house on a designated 120’ x 120’ Compound Parcel within the student’s studio section of the plan. The work centered on creating a small residential “Fee Simple” home that adhered to the urban design principles and site disposition outlined in the Master Plan, emphasizing cohesion and community integration. The student’s design process included analyzing the site to ensure alignment with the broader vision, studying the architectural and urban characteristics of row houses, and developing a design that met the specific coding and spatial requirements established for the parcel. The final design reflected the project’s overarching goal of contributing to a cohesive and thoughtfully planned built environment for the conceptual St. Augustine extension.
