URBAN COMPOSITION/ARCHITECTURE COMPOSITION - Hialeah Racetrack & Townhouse

Led the design of a city neighborhood in the 2,000-acre plot of the historical Hialeah Racetrack. The plot is subdivided into three distinct spaces: commercial districts with public spaces, mixed use buildings, and single family homes with a garden network and flood mitigation canal system. The contours of the racetrack are preserved and transformed into a walkable park with a series of smaller pools and green spaces. I designed the floor plans for a single townhouse in the greater masterplan. This plan is a guideline to help unify and revamp Hialeah’s vibrant community
